The Gaucher Disease Associated Conditions Working Group focuses on addressing medical conditions that may arise independently of Gaucher disease or in conjunction with it, distinguishing them from the intrinsic features of Gaucher itself. Our current priorities include malignancies, Parkinson’s disease, metabolic syndrome, bone disease, and fatigue.  

Our aims are to clarify definitions and terminology, map existing evidence, and develop practical guidance for the recognition, risk assessment, and multidisciplinary management of these conditions. We will produce consensus statements and practical pathways for screening, referral, and treatment, all with the goal of enhancing patient outcomes and fostering consistent clinical practice
